Driver Anatel Modem Pci E Wireless Adapter Card
So I have an odd problem with my wireless network adapter. Before I continue, it is a WN5301A-H1-V02, taken from an old HP. I put it in my new PC, build about a month ago now, and it worked fine. I checked via Device Manager for new drivers, and Windows said that I am running the latest version. But here is the problem: Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. I booted up last night, and it didn't connect, just saying connections were available. I attempted to connect to our network, and was unsuccessful, and then ran the troubleshooter, where my PC froze. A restart later, and all was well. Now today, I was able to turn the pc on and it worked fine. I played online for a while, then shut down. Now, turning it on later today, I had the same problem. I checked teh exact model no, and googled for the latest drivers, all of which were either viruses or were drivers from 2005, when the HP was bought. ATM I am using the Ethernet connection on my motherboard, and that works fine, if it didn't I wouldn't be posting this.
BTW, I am running Windows 7 Professional N, not Ubuntu. UPDATE: Unfortunately, using Ethernet is not an option as I would have to re-wire my house, or run a huge cable through the hall. If I need to get a new adapter, please keep it under $15-$20. Comments are closed.
